In 2009, Automed redefined its vision to become a Pharmaceutical Process Partners. Towards this vision, Automed was completely reengineered to deliver process automation solutions with special emphasis on CONTAINMENT, ASEPTIC TRANSFERS, MATERIAL HANDLING AUTOMATION & STERILIZATION.

Today , Automed has over 80% market share in the contained powder handling, had emerged as the company to go to for Automation solutions for complex process issues in OSD, Harmone production, Contained formulations and bio decontamination.

Milestones

1998 – Started Automed Microbiology Systems, as a partnership company, in the proverbial garage. Started with launching Biochemical Based Microbial Identification Kits for the first time in INDIA.

2002 – Merged Automed Microbiology Systems into Automed Systems Private Limited and went national with offices in Bangalore ( HQ), Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Delhi.

2004 - Sold and installed 10 large 88 position Roller System for Rabies Vaccine production in India. This was also the first installation in the world for the product.

2005 - Were recognized and awarded the Best Sales distributor for the Cell culture division by Wheaton Science of USA.

2008 – Launched Rapid Microbiology Division within Automed. Leading to over 9 installations in MNC Pharmaceutical and Beverages companies.

2010 – Inaugurated the Corporate Head Quarters and 11,500 Sq. Ft of Lab space for PROBIOSYS LIFE SCIENCES and TRUTHI ENGINEERING SERVICES.

2010 Sept – R e c e i v e d Karnataka Government recognition as a Biotech Finishing School.

2011- Received the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research ( DSIR), Ministry of Science recognition and identified projects for Department of Biotechnology (DBT) funding.

2013 – June Installed the first Belimed (Swiss )GMP autoclave for Glenmark at Indore. Installed and commissioned the first containment solution for ADC at a CRO.

2013 – Truthi Engineering was accredited to NABL.

2014 – Spun off microbiology division into a separate entity.

2015 – Sold Truthi to investors.

2015 – Major project in Vizak, where OEL5 level containment was achieved with Split Butterfly valves.

2016 – Commissioned and executed multiple containment solutions for a major MNC in Bangalore which included 4 customized isolators , 2 down flow boots and integration of material handling equipment in the isolator.

2017 – Commissioned and executed Large containment projects for the largest Indian Pharma company integrating our solutions with 4 major international equipment suppliers. Bagged large orders for projects in Dubai and Mexico.

Automed is the only organization in India today which offers Integrated asset management services, this involves, asset management, critical rating analysis, service management and vendor management capabilities.

As an organization that prides in marketing emerging technologies, Automed has a team of extremely capable engineers who not only understand the instrumentation but also the regulatory framework in which most of these technologies would be implemented. All our engineers are factory trained and have successfully implemented Rapid Microbiology equipments in a FDA environment, Installed and commissioned Flow cytometry based RMM tools in an industrial environment for product release. The team also has extensive experience in commissioning process oriented systems including Roller Systems, Filling Lines, Large Incubators, Steam Sterilizers and washing Systems. We have successfully installed and validated isolators for FDA approved Pharma plants.

We have a dedicated operation to handle customer service issues and have a proactive program to measure and improve customer service ratings and this is an ISO audited process.

Logistics and Warehousing:

We have a dedicated logistics and warehousing team, with a dedicated warehouse for consumables and instruments . Our warehouse is equipped to handle temperature sensitive samples and have a monitoring systems that track the condition of our perishable stock.
